One thing I learned early on as I watched my dad shoot, is to appreciate the beauty of God's creation and try to capture it in its created beauty. Be it a new flower budding, a newly born fawn stumbling as it gains strength in its legs or simply the inherent beauty of us humans - if we look closely there is a God created purpose, order, and allure to them all. That is what I look for each time I capture an image on my camera - a small glimpse of God in His creation.

All the images on this site are for sale in various sizes, formats, and framing. (The only exceptions are those events or shoots where I have done them at no cost besides the lab fees involved, of which I make no profits from their sales) I do believe in giving back to help the less fortunate. Since God has blessed me and by His grace I do not walk the same road as they do; I do donate 50% of all profits from any of my sales to Mission of Hope Haiti and to Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac. Both are great organizations in not just providing basic needs but also in empowering and making viable, productive people from those most have overlooked. They are not affiliated with each other or with me. I encourage you to check them both out and help them if you can even if it means you don't buy my work or hire me. I'd rather you give them $100 than buy $100 from me. (Don't tell anyone I said that, I could lose my Minor in marketing for posting that comment)

Straight out of high school I had planned on going to Art School. My heart was set on going to the Savannah College of Arts and Design in Georgia. I was accepted, but backed out of it. I didn't think I had what it took to make a living from my art. Instead I went to Cedarville University and graduated with a business degree. All the while I have always had a love for art, primarily photography. I have been taking pictures since I was a teenager. Starting with an old Pentax K1000 film camera, taking as many pictures as I could afford or by processing as many as I could in my school's darkroom. Then came the lean years in college where I couldn't afford anything beyond my bare necessities much less film and lenses. I took very few pictures during this period. It wasn't until my wife bought me my first DSLR back in 2008 that I really began to fully pursue photography again. God has put some wonderful and talented photographers into my life that have helped me grow exponentially as a photographer in these past 4 years. I have a great love for the captured image and am grateful to be in an age where so much can be done to produce that final product.

I am available to shoot your events, weddings, commercial work and portraits. Likewise, I do charity shoots at no charge to those involved depending on the need and my availability. Please contact me to reserve an open date.
